Engraving by hand is perhaps the oldest art of mankind. From prehistoric times through the ages, humans have used tools to etch caves, tombs, monuments, armor, weapons, ornaments and sculpture. The engravers skill has been summoned to cut the type on wood blocks or metal plates from which books and illustrations were printed.

An all consuming and fierce passion for this art form led to an invitation to participate, collaborate and learn in the prestigious Grand Master Program at the GRS Training Center in Emporia, Kansas in 2017.
